Police have released a CCTV image after a stolen credit card was used to withdraw £1,000 from an account.

The card was stolen from a blue Ford Fiesta in Pasture Lane, Bolton-le-Sands near Carnforth at between 2pm – 3.15pm on August 27. Several items of clothing, including a £120 ski jacket, were also taken.

The card was used to withdraw cash over the counter at the Halifax in Morecambe’s Arndale Centre around an hour later.

Police have released a picture of two people who they would like to speak to in order to eliminate them from their inquiries.

• Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police on 01524 63333 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
