Police appeal for missing Fleetwood girl

(Update 7th June - girl returned home safe and well, story retained for archive purposes)

Police are appealing for information after a 14 year old girl went missing from her home in Fleetwood.

Courtney Jackson has not been seen since she left her grandparents address on Mariners Close on Bank Holiday Monday at around 9.00pm.

She has friends is Fleetwood and also in Blackpool and she could be staying with them. Courtney has been speaking to her mum on facebook but her parents do not know where she is.

Inspector Mike Charlton from Lancashire police said, “I would appeal for anyone who has seen or spoken to Courtney and may know where she is to come forward and contact police. She has not been seen since Monday and her family are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“If Courtney wants to contact us direct then she can do so by calling us on 0845 1 25 35 45.”
