Monday Full Moon brings Chinese Mooncake Festival 2011

Thursday, 8 September 2011

Lancaster and Morecambe Chinese Community Association and Help Direct invite you to experience Chinese culture at the Mid-Autumn Mooncake Festival next Monday; a popular traditional Chinese Harvest festival celebration, held at the full moon and dating back over 3000 years!

The event, which runs from 6pm to 9pm at Lancaster Town Hall on Monday 12 September, will feature authentic and traditional stalls, food and drink stalls, cultural performances, a lantern and dragon parade and a raffle.
Great fun for the whole family. Admission is £2 per person, with tickets available on the door only.
The big, shiny moon to light your way home is included free! Enjoy!
