Warming us up for the Lancaster Music Festival next month, from this Thursday 18 September through 'til Sunday 21 September Lancaster Jazz Festival will be treating us to four days of live music, sessions and workshops. From breakfast til bedtime (whenever that is) there will be live jazz performances at various venues in the City, many of them free and the rest of them with hefty discounts. You can see the full schedule here at:

The Festival kicks off on Thursday evening with the legendary Courtney Pine, who is bringing his House of Legends tour to the Dukes at 7.30pm (tickets £20). Following on from this gig, The Initiative will be hosting a free Open House session from 10.30pm at the Golden Lion.
